Being & Believing in the Natural World: Perspectives from the Ancient Mediterranean, Asia, and Indigenous North America brought together over 200+ objects to explore human relationships with the natural world. Rather than searching for similarities across cultures, this exhibition embraces the layers of meaning that emerge in bringing these different perceptions together.
With so many objects displayed, a clear and organized labeling system had to be designed that also accounted for the various cultural and curatorial attributions. A print and outdoor marketing campaign offered variations of layout that conveyed the conceit of the exhibition.
